For the past few months, we have all suddenly found ourselves thrust into a crisis that has been completely out of our control and changed our lives, possibly forever – Coronavirus.
Not only has Covid-19 changed our lives in dramatic ways – from the way we live our daily lives to the way we make our living – it has dominated our televisions, social media and radio programming. It feels like there is no escape or outlet.
To say that it is all becoming mentally and emotionally exhausting would be an understatement. We are ready to get back to our lives. But we soldier on, doing the necessary things to mitigate the amount of damage this crisis does to our society as a people and our economy as a whole.
It is time to have a bit of a reprieve from the doom and gloom we are exposed to, on a daily basis. So, Knife & Gear Society has done some leg work to put together a little something to help you pass the time during the mind-numbing final stretch of the shutdown – a digital scavenger hunt with a pile of cool stuff at the end.
Fortunately, there were some great companies that had the capability to get these products to us for this giveaway – in spite of the current situation. Please make sure to return the support by going out to their Instagram and/or Facebook pages and follow them – links at the bottom of the page.
Unfortunately, due to shutdowns – as a result of the Coronavirus – there were many companies that could only send their apologies for their inability to be a part of it. But they send their best to you all and we appreciate their willingness none the less.
Everyone loves a good scavenger hunt and that is exactly what this is – but with a twist. Since we are all ordered to stay in our homes, this will be a digital scavenger hunt – giving you something to battle the boredom, while learning a little more about Knife & Gear Society, our writers, the website itself (and the resources available within), the companies that have provided the great products in our prize packs and the products themselves.
The list of questions may seem long, but we couldn’t make this too easy. For this reason we have created a downloadable/printable PDF so that you can work on this over time and then come back to this page and fill out the answers all at once – preventing a timeout or other unfortunate event that could cause your hard work to be lost before you submit it.
Please keep in mind that the search function on our site, Google and the search functions on the manufacturer websites, are your friends. Some of the questions will be fairly easy, but some will be harder and may require a little deeper research.
To enter the contest, fill out the form below with your answers and click submit. The submissions with correct answers will be placed in a drawing, which will take place on May 9th at 2:PM EST. Each name will have a number assigned and will be drawn, via a random number generator, during a live stream on Instagram. The first name drawn will win the Grand Prize, the second name will win Second Prize and the third name will win Third Prize.
You may be wondering why the drawing will be taking place on May 9th – as opposed to May 1st (since April 30this the date most stay at home orders are supposed to lift) – but we have heard from a lot of people that they will be remaining in self quarantine for at least a week after the orders are lifted. So, we are just covering all bases.
Good luck to all and have fun! K&G

Shipping and handling will be covered by Knife & Gear Society and will be taken care of as soon as a winner is established, and we receive shipping details. There will be no substitution prizes. Knife & Gear Society is not responsible for lost or stolen prizes. Unfortunately, due to shipping costs and Covid-19 related shipping issues, this contest is limited to the contiguous United States only.
A lot of you did a lot of good work going through the questionnaire and we hoe you enjoyed it. Now is your opportunity to check your work and see how you did. Thank you again for your support of Knife & Gear Society and your participation in our Homestretch GAW.
Don’t worry if you didn’t win, we do giveaways every month, for single items and they don’t take the amount of work this one took. Keep your eyes peeled, a lot of great products coming, and easy entries.
