What do you get when you combine a knife maker and a true artist? The answer is quite simply, Michael Zieba.
I have known Mike for a couple years now and although I am fortunate to own one of his knives, I can’t help but continue to covet everything I see in his catalog. He is the type of knife maker that creates masterpieces befitting royalty.
Recently Mike sent me an email with final photos of a project he has been working on for three years and I was completely blown away by the results. I remember speaking with him about this particular project around a year ago but had no idea that this was where it would end up. Of course, I knew it was going to be amazing, but nothing could have truly prepared me for the finished piece.
It is not often that a piece like this comes along, and I felt I would be remiss if I didn’t share this feast for the eyes with you. This is the stuff of kings. K&G
ZIEBA Dagger “Enlightenment”
I am still wondering if I should present everything as it is for me with details, where each part, each element, texture or finish has its own hidden symbolism.
It is readable in full at the level of 600-900, according to the map of consciousness known to us for a long time, the scale of human consciousness.
The symbolism and message of the Dagger is not understandable to people below level 200, even with thorough description, it will still be misinterpreted.
The dagger, like everything around us, will never be fully finished, for nothing ever ends, its external proportions express divine proportions.
